Over ten years I've been coaching boxing.
I have the medical examination approved by the doctor of boxing in the Balearic Federation of Boxing in Palma of Mallorca. Then the Spanish Federation of Boxing they have discriminated me and not they want to give me the license for to be deaf. is a tremendous injustice. They say that boxing is politics. To me boxing is not politics if not a sport you throw punches. nothing more. They say a deaf boxer like me affects the image of Spain. I'm scared and sad.
I've been trying boxing but so far has not been possible. The Higher Council of Sports (CSD) and the Spanish Boxing Federation (FEB) I have been discriminated against, have made even practical deterrent towards me but I am not going to stop until I stop boxing. Now explain why:
According to the regulation, people with functional or organic diseases can not boxing. The total deafness is incompatible with boxing. This is why what the CSD and I do not FEB. What we do not want to know is that I only have 37% of deafness, as they think that I am a disabled person crazy not bother to help me. What is most amazing is that even forged a medical examination, which I never did, to prevent boxing. The CSD call to my house to threaten not to insist on seeking a solution to boxing and FEB call police for their way to building without doing anything bad. I went to CSD to break windows and paint on the door of CSD "gomez resignation, Nazi gomez, boxing will not let me because they deaf" to curb that I did dirty things and do justice.
I must admit that my attitude towards them has never been better (once broke some windows in the CSD in an attack anger and helplessness) but what I think is an unacceptable and shameful attitude vejatoria so in a public institution, who must protect and look after the interests of citizens and sportsmen in this case, not close the way to a sportsman in revenge for having broken a few windows, that's more typical of children in nursery school.
There have been in the history other deaf people who have boxing as Jose Hernandez, Catalan, European champion of weight welter, and other Mario D'agata, Italian, was world champion bantamweight. They could not able hear the bell, they were unable to speak. Right now there seven deaf boxers who are competing, one called Dallas Vargas, is American, other Daniel Deago is Panamanian, other Matt Hamill, an American, other Kalucza Norbert is Hungarian, other Giovanni Improta, is Italian, other Jimmy Lubash, is American, and other Emerson Tolosa, is Chilean. As the Hungarian Norbert deaf boxer has competed in the Olympic Games of Beijing 2008. Dallas, Daniel, Matt and Norbert not hear the bell nor whistle. I am able to hear a whistle and talking to people without problems so I do not leave boxing, is unfair. The regulations in turn allows to replace the hood for other mechanisms, and the whistle could be one of them.
Because to the deaf boxers yes they leave them to boxing until a deaf Hungarian boxer which was to the Olympic Games of Beijing 2008 and to I do not leave them to boxing, and I carry more of fifteen years struggling and screaming for that they leave me to boxing. The CSD and the FEB are crazy and are scoundrels.
The CSD and the FEB must resign by threats, falsifying medical my appreciation and manipulate the media not to publish my complaint, that are hiding and deceiving all spain and the whole world. I request the resignation of the directors of the CSD and the FEB.
I urge the Spanish political handled not to athletes or to me, I am deaf that I will continue to fight, I do not fear anyone.
The world champion weights means, the Spanish Javier Castillejo, criticizes "politicians" Spaniards.

I have no fear of anything, I would like to show everyone that I am capable of everything, that I am capable of beating anyone. If someday be champion Spain will return the belt to the ELF, because I deserve much more than what they have done for me. I want the belt Europe and the world. I do not put limits.
Many people think I'm sick for fault of my voice, my voice is rare, but my head is not, my head is strong and healthy. The that I talk "rare" does not mean either that I´m stupid nor I'm crazy nor that I´m sick. Hello, my name is George. I'm from Madrid, I am deaf, I speak with the mouth and I read lips. Also I know to talk with the international sign language (SSI). I have two passions: painting and boxing.
Boxing for many years and is one of my dreams. Being deaf, I have to live with a serious handicap, and is the social rejection. I have no job and my future I see is quite gray, if it is difficult today in day to get work, more so when you're at a disadvantage compared to others.
But to recive experiencing discrimination and vexatious should not have that to see with my "disability", and that is what happened to me in the Sports Council and the Spanish Boxing Federation.
Do not let me compete for being deaf, and is a tremendous injustice, and not only that, also they have treated almost like an animal, not sensibly have exposed a number of sound reasons substantiated for not letting me compete, if not have been laughed of me and my "handicap".
Everything would be solution if the referee carry a whistle because I can I hear or the referee can touch me my shoulder or back. I tried to put me to contact the President of the Spanish Boxing Federation to present my case and seek a solution that could satisfy everyone, but in the Federation, however, in the Federation, further of insult me and laugh of me, do they not let me to talk with anyone and they called the police to throw me out of the building, an attitude unbecoming a federation, which should promote the athletes who they try to open step like me and not humiliate them.
Further, the Federation took a series of deterrent measures for to prevent that I return, measures that I will not expose now because I think that not is the moment, but that in either case are own of a "thriller" of Hollywood.
I write to you appealing to my right to reply, and the right of all the Spanish people to be informed about what is happening in their federations, our federations. The Spanish sports could be much higher if they are preocupasen by athletes like me ... Athletes from home ... and although its wording will receive serious and troubling cases,this is the me have touched to live to my, and can be decisive for my future.
