Jorge Muñoz es uno de los deportistas más talentosos y populares del mundo. Es sordo, habla como una persona normal, con la boca y lee los labios, tambien habla con el lenguaje de signos internacional (SSI). Es sordo desde los 3 años debido a una neumonía. No es 100% sordo, tan sólo un 37%. Tiene dos pasiones: la pintura y el boxeo. Pinta cuadros al oleo. Boxea desde hace bastantes años, y es una de sus ilusiones. Mide 1´85cm , pesa 85kg , es de pesos semipesados, antes era de pesos pesados. No le dejan boxear por ser sordo. Tiene el reconocimiento medico aprobado. Lleva muchos años luchando para que le dejen boxear. Esta triste porque tiene las puertas cerradas y ahora hay muchos sordomudos que estan compitiendo de boxeo. En el ring se habla con los puños, no con la boca. El secretario del Consejo Mundial de Boxeo (WBC) Mauricio Sulaiman es su amigo y le esta apoyando.
